The artist known as J-Med, was born August 20th 1985, real name Joshua Dion Medley, the son of Robinette Medley and Perry Lee Sturdivant. At a young age J-Med fell in love with music. His biggest influence was 2pac, The Lox, Bone Thugz n Harmony, Naughty by Nature, Goodie Mob, DMX, 8Ball and MJG, Wu-Tang, Outkast, 50 Cent, Too Short, Jay Z, and Pastor Troy. Raised in Oakboro , NC , and lived in Mt. Gilead , Biscoe and Candor NC
